Håkan Persson appointed new CEO of Smoltek

Håkan Persson most recently comes from the pos­i­tion as Inter­im SVP Sales & Strategy for the bio­met­rics com­pany Next Bio­met­rics, which is lis­ted in Nor­way. He has pre­vi­ously been CEO or inter­im CEO of oth­er lis­ted tech­no­logy com­pan­ies such as Neonode, Pre­cise Bio­met­rics and Scalado, and has held sev­er­al lead­ing pos­i­tions with sales and oper­a­tion­al respons­ib­il­ity with­in the north­ern European part of IBM.

“Smol­tek is in an expans­ive and excit­ing phase with poten­tial to reach the mar­ket with its ultra-thin CNF-MIM capa­cit­ors for the semi­con­duct­or industry, as well as in new focus areas where elec­tro­lyz­ers for indus­tri­al hydro­gen pro­duc­tion is the lead­ing pro­ject so far. It will be an excit­ing chal­lenge to real­ize this poten­tial togeth­er with the tech­nic­ally skilled and innov­at­ive Smol­tek team, and I look for­ward to con­trib­ute with my know­ledge and exper­i­ence from sim­il­ar situations”

Smoltek’s inter­im CEO Mar­ie Land­fors will be avail­able to the com­pany to ensure a smooth han­dover to the Company’s new CEO.

Håkan Persson will assume the pos­i­tion of CEO of Smol­tek by Octo­ber. More inform­a­tion about his acces­sion will be pub­lished continuously.
