Smoltek’s proprietary platform keeps growing as we have been awarded another approved patent. This new US patent covers energy storage devices and the usage of the same. Our patent portfolio now comprises 60 granted patents.
At the virtual IEEE NANO 2020 conference in Montreal, Canada Smoltek presented that the CNF-MIM capacitor concept isn't restrained to only silicon substrates.
Research Engineer Qi Li is a new member of the R&D-team at Smoltek. Qi will be working with the design, manufacturing and characterization of carbon nanostructure-based components.
ECTC is the largest global microelectronic packaging industry event of the year. This year however it will be an all-virtual event, which means that anyone can register and watch the technical presentations. So, if you like to get in the know of the CNF-MIM technology – register, it’s free of charge!
Smoltek is awarded yet another approved patent, the fourth this year. The patent is also the third in a patent family protecting solutions for interposers based on the CNF-MIM capacitor concept. This means that our patent portfolio now comprises 59 granted patents.
Smoltek keep growing its proprietary technology platform. In the beginning of May 2020 patent No. 58 was granted. The patent is connected to our helplayer family.
Smoltek announces that the company has signed yet another evaluation agreement, this time with a leading manufacturer of passive electronics components including capacitors. The agreement relates to an evaluation license where Smoltek's patented carbon nanofiber-based CNF-MIM technology is evaluated in a joint project. The order value for this first step amounts to approximately SEK 1 million and is intended to lead to a production license agreement in the next step.
Smoltek keep growing its proprietary technology platform. In March 2020 the 57th patent was granted. This is a Pan-European patent which covers interconnects applications.
Smoltek announces that the company has signed an evaluation agreement with one of the world’s largest capacitor manufacturers. The agreement concerns a project with a license for evaluation of Smoltek’s patented carbon nanofiber-based CNF-MIM technology. The intention is to replace the evaluation agreement with a production license agreement as a next step. The order value for this first step amounts to approximately SEK 1 million.
